About Us
The Women's Pregnancy Center, a non-profit agency, was formed in 1987. We were started by a number of caring, committed people who wanted to provide free services to women that had an unplanned pregnancy. In December of 2005, the WPC began operating as a medical clinic, providing limited ultrasounds at no cost to clients. At that time a medical director, 4 part time nurses and a sonographer were added to the already existing office staff.
The WPC staff, as a service to the community, provides presentations to a number of schools, churches, youth groups, agencies and organizations.
The Women's Pregnancy Center serves a 12 county region covering portions of Northeast North Dakota and North West Minnesota. The counties that are served in North Dakota inclue Grand Forks, Steele, Griggs, Nelson, Ramsey, Benson, Eddy, Foster and the northern part of trail. Three Minnesota counties include Polk, Marshall and Kittson. There are 97 communities within these regions. The WPC also serves the Grand forks Air Force Base, the University of North Dakota, University of Minnesota, Crookston and the Northwest Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
